Happy birthday Florence 6 today!

Bethan is such a great learner, she practised her spellings at home because she wanted to. What a fantastic learner she is!

The Year 2 children have been having fun and showing Miss Haynes what great spelling stars they are this week practising writing words on their ‘spelling door’.

Well…

We have been geography detectives this week. We have been busy looking at the seven continents and five oceans around the world. 

We have been learning the names of the seven continents using this song to help us  ...

Sian is doing so well this week learning the spelling rule for ‘kn’ and ‘ gn’ and her handwriting is excellent! Well done Sian.

What a fabulous first week of school we have had! All our new children in EYFS have settled into school life brilliantly, we are very proud of them.

We have all had a busy, fun week in Lower School. Myself, Mrs Allen and Miss Haynes are all so proud of the children’s excellent behaviour and…

Speedy, our snail from the story ‘The Snail and the Whale’ by Julia Donaldson that we love so much in Lower School, is off on his travels with Whale again. 

They have travelled to North Africa where they have made a new friend, Clive the Camel!

Happy Birthday to our gorgeous Millie who will be six in the summer holidays. We hope you will have a fabulous birthday!

Today Mrs Young has kindly brought her Tortoises back to school for us to see how much they have grown since we last saw them at the beginning of the school year. We have learnt about their progress and adventures since we last saw them!

We had a great day out today seeing all the different animals at Blackpool Zoo.
