There are some great events here at the Barnes Children's Literature Festival at home which you have to register for, there are events happening from today until Sunday take a look https://www.barneskidslitfest.org/whats-on/

Play Phonicsplay and review some sounds you need practise with then practise building and blending your phonics by reading a book.

 

Reading and Responding

Reception - Please choose an activity from the ones around Owl Babies.

Year 1- Today you are going to follow some instructions and draw one of the Mr Men then have a go at creating your own Mr Man character and then writing some instructions for a friend to follow to be able to draw your new character! Have fun.

Year 2 - Today you are going to watch and listen to the story Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers.  Then after talking about it I would like you to create a poster writing down the advice that Oliver Jeffers gives (see the full details on your plan).
