School Lunch Menu


As pupils enter our school each morning they read our menu board and then choose a coloured wrist band according to which of 2 lunch choices they would prefer that day. We are very lucky in having Mrs Billington as our catering manager, she always listens to children's comments, quickly learning their likes and dislikes and providing extra choices where necessary, she never leaves a child hungry!  The children sit in groups to eat and each table has a large dish full of sliced peppers, cucumber, celery, beetroot, cherry tomatoes, raisins, bread and coleslaw to which the children can help themselves during their meal. Fresh fruit and yogurt are available at each lunchtime as an alternative to the daily dessert and there is always a choice of either water or milk to drink. We follow Lancashire Catering Group's weekly menu for primary schools which we publish here.
