Good morning!

Today’s star if the blog is Ada with a fabulous bow and arrow she made over half term.

Here are your activities to choose from today ...

Phonics

Read your favourite book, in the sunshine, in your garden!

Reading and Responding

Please look at the plans I have sent you on email.

Reception - Please choose an activity from the ones around Handa’s Surpise.

Year 1- More seaside fun today, your activity is based around the great story Commotion In The Ocean by Giles Andre. You can follow the plans or you can retell the story in your paddling pool! The weather is due to change tomorrow so make the most of it today.

Year 2 - Who likes Top Trumps? Today your activity is to create your own Top Trumps cards displaying key facts about birds to play with your family. Again, as the weather is due to change you can follow the plan or today why not do a bird survey in the garden and write a few sentences about what you spot? Have fun.

Maths

Reception your learning can be found on the white rose maths site - get your funky fingers ready! Use paint and experiment creating different patterns around a spiral to make a designer snail!

Year 1 - Today your activity is to compare volume and capacity you can find it here https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zmytpg8 If you would like to why not take your learning for this outside today? Instead of writing on the worksheet suggested here I’d like you to do lots of investigating with water and different containers in your gardens! If you have a paddling pool get in and do your maths learning in the paddling pool, have fun!

Year 2 - Today your activity is learning how to share equally relates to division you can find it here https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zfxtnrd

Don’t forget to choose your own topic learning today.

Have a great day!
