In our maths lessons, we have been looking at multiplication and division. We have done lots of focused work on odds and evens, understanding which numbers are divisible by two and which are not. We have been working hard to understand the relationship between multiplication and division, where children have done really well to represent number sentences through manipulatives and visual representations such as bar models and part whole models. Children are able to work out the inverse using their knowledge of the relationship between the two operations.
