It has been lovely to see each other after our Christmas break and everyone has started the new term refreshed and ready to learn!

We have had a busy, fun-filled week (take a look at the photos below) where we have begun our topic for the term called ‘Explorers’. The Reception children have been exploring outside being winter detectives! They looked for signs of winter in one lesson and then looked closely at winter trees in another. All the class have started to learn about people from the past who are significant and remembered for the exploring they did round the world. Year 1 and 2 have researched Christopher Columbus and Neil Armstrong to begin with.
