Over the last few weeks, Middle School have been busy getting to grips with place value of numbers up to 10,000.

We are continually using various models, resources and visuals to learn about how the value of digits change depending on their place in a number.

We are expert ‘Zero Hero’ spotters now!!

This week, we have continued to explore how numbers are partitioned (broken up) and learning that there are multiple/flexible ways to do this.

Take a look at some of our Middle School using their little ‘9999 tubs’ to create different numbers.
