Year 3 and 4 having been telling the time in Maths. Whilst some children find this very easy, many find this dificult. Over the holidays and whenever possible, ask your child to tell you the time!      Ask them questions such as

Benjamin came dressed as a Roman soldier and is guarding Sean who is dressed as King Herod.

Lucy came as a cat  from Noah's Ark and Anya creatively came dressed as The Bible!

Alex came in character as King David, Sophie came as Hannah and Amy came as Mary.

Daniel came to World Book Day dressed as a shepherd, Florence was dressed as an angel and James came as Moses with his own tablet of the Ten Commandments.

Zara came as a zebra from Noah's Ark. Keira came as the Egyptian princess who found and looked after the baby Moses. Freya came as Eve.

Lucie and Jacob both came as the robbers who were on the road to Jericho when they attacked a man who was helped by the Good Samaritan.

Daniel looked colourful in his coat of many colours as Joseph. Sean looked important as King Herod and Aimee came dressed as Jesus.

Olivia came as a shepherd and Caitlin a sheep!

This morning, six children lead a Fairtrade themed worship as part of Fairtrade Fortnight which is held nationally. The focus this year is Make Your Breakfast Count. We were asked to consider where our breakfast came from and to consider using Fairtrade products whever we can.

Every child in Upper School participated in an afternoon of activity to learn about safe messaging on the internet. Chidren considered how they feel when they see different types of messages and the impact their messages have on their readers. Safer Internet Day is a nationally recognised day and…
