We had a visit from Simon Bowen and friends with his rally car before they compete in the rally in Garstang this weekend. The children enjoyed having a look and getting to sit inside the car.

On World Book Day we created our very own book of riddles!  Our topic this half term is called ‘The Farm Shop’ and lots of our learning is linked to farms, animals on the farms, plants, people and how farms produce food for us to eat.

Our Reception group have been busy creating lots of interesting things with big boxes and writing about them this week. We have had secret doors, magic doors, fairy castles, dinosaur lands, cars and so many more! We loved listening to the stories you made up as you played children!

We had a lovely treat this week as the Upper School children came to share their writing with us. They had written letters to the children in Lower School explaining their RE learning to them and had also created some information posters about tigers to share with us.
