Last week we were very excited to welcome lower school into our classroom for a ‘dragon day’!
We began by reading and looking at ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and coming up with our own ideas for dragons.
Year 3s helped year 1 and 2 to use the computers and create a digital drawing of their dragon.
After this, we wrote a description about our dragon, using lovely adjectives to describe their appearance, powers and personality.
In the afternoon, we split into two groups. The first group used watercolours to create a painting of a dragon. The second group created a PowerPoint with information about their dragons. They learned to create slides, type and copy and paste images from swingle search.
