Our Reception children have been busy building their number sense this week by digging through the sand to find numbers that were hidden. Once they found them they practised forming the numbers in the sand and then had to bury the number again by tipping the number shown in buckets of sand over it! 
 

Our Year 1 and 2 children also learnt in the tray but they were practising doubles, doubling each number they found.
