As part of our DT skills the children have been learning how to sew a simple running stitch. They practised threading using laces and cards to learn the technique to begin with. Then they chose some felt and embroidery thread and made toggle for a key ring as a gift for their Mummies this Mother’s Day! 

They were so proud of their toggles, it was such a lovely activity. They also drew some fabulous pictures of themselves with their Mums and we added these to the toggles to make key rings.
