The children in Upper School are studying Earth in Space this term and part of our topic is to look at space exploration in Art and Design. We have observed and discussed pictures from the past of what people thought the future would be like and what space travel could look like. Some pictures were pretty accurate and some were a bit crazy! Today the children thought about what our own future would look like and they designed a picture of their ideas using a range of media including sketching, pastels, colouring pencils and pens. It was very hard to think about what life might be like 50 years from now but they had a really good go! See the gallery for their designs…
