Middle school’s science topic for this half term is ‘habitats and adaptations’. After identifying some of the main global habitats, we concentrated on the smaller habitats within each. Forests could also contain underground tunnels, homes beneath bark or arboreal dwellings.
we focused on the habitats within our own school area, searching for what we could see and find. Children found many micro-habitats (and some of their inhabitants!).
