It was wet, it was cold, it was very, very muddy but 9 of our fantastic Y5 and 6 children took part in a cross country race at Garstang Community Academy with enthusiasm and determination. The boys’ race was first and after two gruelling laps of the school field completed, Leo came in at a very respectable 8th out of 49. The girls set off second with Ada skidding her way into 11th place out of 40. The group were brilliant and I was so proud of the effort they all made to do their best. There were a lot of muddy bottoms and legs at the end of the race but lots of smiles too! Well done children!
