Welcome back and Happy New Year! 2018 is going to be a great year! We are starting our year off with an exciting topic called Explorers. Today the children had to guess what our topic is by looking at the items in a rucksack. Iain was the first to work it out. 

After lots of discussion the children did a task where they had to choose whether to explore a hot or cold place and then decide which essential equipment and tools they would take with them. 

We are going to learn about men and women who have become famous for exploring new and unfamiliar places.
