Today Upper School had their first STEM session with the PNE staff in which they were introduced to  Ozobots. These were tiny wheeled robots that were able to follow instructions using special pens.
The class were told to draw an oval shape with black pen on a white piece of paper and then put the Ozobot onto the lines they had drawn. Amazingly, the Ozobot robots moved along the lines the children had drawn!
After exploring this, the class played a game of table football where they tried to score goals whilst the Ozobots were moving around their ovals. Very tricky! (See the gallery)

After the groups had tried this game, they came back together and were given a new challenge. Three different worksheets were provided with black lines and gaps to fill in with the special coloured pens. They filled the gaps and then watched what the Ozobots did when placed on top of the lines.

Next week, we will continue to discover more of what the Ozobots can do!

Thanks to the PNE Staff for their brilliant teaching and patience as we worked today.
