Here's an email we received from Katy Wyper, one of the PE Teachers we have been working with from AFC Fylde, she wanted to update us on her progress in various competitions. Well done Katy, we're all cheering for you!

Hi All

Thought I would give you all a little update on my progress.

Since I was last with you I have competed in the North of England Championships as well as the British Senior Championships.

At the North of England Champs I got bronze in the 100m in a photo finish race - just 0.06 separated the top 3!! And I ran a personal best in the 200 to take the Championship title and the gold medal.

At the British Senior Championships and trials I placed 11th in the 100 and 13th in the 200 - the best I have ever done at the Champs! 

All in all my season is going well. After being selected earlier this year for the England 4x100 I am targeting the 2018 Commonwealth Games for my first full International selection. And later this year my aim is to gain selection for England at a home international match in Manchester.
