Year 6 Leavers’ Meal 2018
After picking lots of new and exciting books at Waterstones, a good time was had by all at the Year 6 leavers’ meal at Pizza Express last night. The children enjoyed piles of pizza and gallons of juice before finishing it all off with McDonalds ice creams.

Bee Keeper Visit
The children have been learning about habitats and life cycles this term and so it was lovely to welcome Jeremy the bee keeper into our class to teach us about bees.
Transition morning
This morning the Year 2 came up to Upper School to work with Year 3 and Mrs Hurley. We worked outside in mixed team to complete an orienteering maths challenge and then had a lovely circle time activity. We discussed and wrote about what makes a good friend.

Celebrations for Year 6!
Year 6 finished their SATS this morning! As a group, we have been incredibly proud of this hard- working group of children who have put 100% of effort into both their preparation and the tests themselves.
They are celebrating with cakes and lots of playtime!
St George’s Day Uniforms
We are really proud of our Cubs, Scouts and Guide who have come in their uniforms this morning for St George’s Day. They have explained their many badges really well and clearly enjoy being part of these organisations.

Ribchester Museum Visit
The children really enjoyed finding out about the Roman fort at Ribchester. They got to try on Roman armour and handle real Roman artefacts.
