This half term we will be learning all about the Spanish artist Joan Miro. Today we started looking at the shapes and colours in Miro's paintings and then used vision frames to select a part of one of his artworks to recreate in pencil and felt tip pen.

More of our class have been using the programme Paint to create Christmas themed pictures this week and having a lot of fun!

The children selected different colours to paint their clay creations this week before taking them home to hang on their Christmas trees and give to their parents. 

They look fabulous and I am sure all their families will agree!

This Wednesday, middle school got creative (and very glittery) creating some Christmas cards with a German twist. They all wrote 'Merry Christmas' in German on the front.

Middle school really enjoyed their Christmas party this year. 
Alongside plenty of festive music, we played lots of party games and won lots of prizes! Children especially loved the pass the parcel that was kindly donated by Friends of Inskip!
