We have been learning how to use bossy verbs and give instructions this week and using the tuff tray to act out and make up more stories about Robin and her family of mice.

In the film Robin Robin, Robin and her family of mice have rules that they must follow to be successful in their sneaking food from houses. We learnt the song which sings the rules of the sneak. Then we had a visit from some Robin’s mice family cousins who didn’t know how to sneak!

So I challenged the children to write a set of instructions explaining to the cousin mice ‘How to Sneak’.

They acted out giving instructions before writing their own set.
