Lower School (KS1)

So far in our learning we have been lucky enough to have received photos and videos of penguins all the way from the Falkland Islands and now we have news of pigs and piglets much closer to home!

Ted is such a superstar, he is enjoying our topic so much that he made a penguin and wrote a penguin themed book at home last night. The first part of his book contained a story he wrote about a penguin and a boy then he had written a page of penguin facts at the end.

Year 2 have had great fun learning the spelling rule for the ‘s spelt with a c’ this week. They have done a variety of activities but their favourite was the ice race that Miss Haynes thought of for them!
