What a start to our PE learning! One of our PE topics is ‘Rock’n’Roll’: a dance linked to our science and history topics (Stone Age/ Solids, Liquids and Gases / Rocks and minerals).

The children have been learning to navigate and use the hall space safely and creativity, listen to commands and follow signals, travel around and freeze frame to represent ideas. 

Middle School had to travel around the beach, react to the storm, take shelter from the storm under trees, in caves…and then respond to the calming weather by coming out from their shelters and exploring their surroundings for rocks. They used different movements and heights to show rocks being lifted, explored, chipped, built, painted, scraped…

Very creative!
