In our first week of school, we all talked about where we lived and who lived in their house with them. As part of our PSHE, we talked about different families and what makes us all different and similar. 

The children enjoyed sharing who lived in their house and drawing who they live with and different rooms in their house. We were fully inspired by the captivating book 'Martha Maps it Out' by Leigh Hodgkinson. 

We created maps using large cardboard boxes, huge pieces of paper, chalks, sticks and talked about the journey we would make along the way.
