On Monday we were so lucky to have our current year 2s come up to middle school to spend a day as year 3s! Our current year 3's were wonderful buddies and helped show the year 2s where everything was and what we do in middle school. 
We started off the morning with some maths - the year 2s astounded me with their fantastic addition skills!
After this we did some descriptive writing based on pictures and music. All of the children did really well with this!
Finally, in the afternoon we had a science and DT cross lesson where the children used the laptops to research about hedgehogs. Children then designed their idea for a perfect hedgehog home. After this, we went outside and tried to make them ourselves!

We all had a wonderful day and the year 2s all did so well!
