Continuing on with our forces topic, the children began investigating magnets. We learned about what a magnet is, how it works and how it attracts objects. 
We investigated objects around us by first predicting whether we thought the object would be attracted to the magnet or not. Once we had made a scientific prediction, we tested the magnet! 
Our conclusions were that all objects attracted to the magnet were made of metal, however not all metallic objects were magnetic, too.
