Good morning everyone,

Today's star of the blog is Amber's Brownee Bear, isn't he a gorgeous bear? Great capital letters Amber!

Here are your new activities to choose from today and don't forget all the paper activities I sent home with you at the beginning of lockdown, if you haven't completed them all and prefer to do them rather than these online activities it is your choice! I love seeing and hearing about all the different, fabulous learning activities many of you have made up with your families in the emails you send me.  The best learning is always inspired by the things you see, feel and enjoy at the time - just like the learning we do when we are in school together.  Have a look at these photos to see the amazing science, maths, english and PE that has happened whilst Leo and Ben have created their own learning activities ... the pots hold sunflower seeds that they cycled to buy from Jane Lane Nurseries (great PE), now they are having a competition to see who's sunflower grows the tallest! Evelyn and her little brother Ethan had lots of fun on a mini beast hunt in their garden. Sophie has learnt to ride her big bike and has been enjoying lots of exercise riding it, clever girl!

Fun Learning at home

Phonics (reading and spelling)

Have some fun and go on a sound hunt around your garden or your house today, choose a sound you have been learning recently and see if you can spot anything with that sound in it. Write a list of all the things you find. For example if you have been learning or reminding yourself of the sound ee you might spot a ...

bee, tree, seeds, feet, three flowers ...   Then choose a different sound and have another go.

Send me a photo of your lists, even you making your list, and I will put it on the blog to show everyone.  I wonder who will get the longest list?
