Ms Thornton was lucky enough to get to spend a music lesson with upper school this week! Of course we had to get out the ukuleles to see how much we remembered. The children did excellently, remembering their C and F chords with ease, and some children even remembering G7. After going through some songs to blow of the cobwebs, children split into either soloists, duets or groups to compose their own music and song using their knowledge of the instrument. 
Some groups wrote some very inspiring songs, some silly songs and some even wrote chants and raps! 
There was so much wonderful creativity to accompany the skills of playing an instrument.
