In science we have been investigating classification of animals. Children have spent some time learning about the groups: mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, mulloscs and arthropods. Children split into small groups to research each classification, create a poster and then feed back to the class in a presentation.
This time, children were given a classification chart to follow to see if they could work out what each animal they were given was. There were some tricky animals such as starfish, octopus and kangaroos!
