Middle school have been participating in '30 days wild' from the Wildlife Trust - alongside this we were sent some wildflowers to plant at school!

Luckily, we already have a wonderful designated wild meadow area next to the drive. This was a perfect place to put our flowers!

Wildflowers are great for the environment, the WWF says:

"Wildflowers provide bees, butterflies and other pollinators with food throughout the year. On a single day in summer, one acre of wildflower meadow can contain 3 million flowers, producing 1 kg of nectar sugar. That's enough to support nearly 96,000 honey bees per day."
