On Wednesday 7th June, 12 children from Upper School went along to Garstang Academy to take part in a small schools netball competition. They play in two teams of 5 with two subs who swapped onto the pitch for each new game. 8 brilliant, 5 minute games were played on three courts and the children did a brilliant job of using their previously learnt skills of team work, attack and defence to try and beat the other teams from around the Garstang area. Abigail in Y6 did a brilliant job as Goal Attack scoring several ‘nets’ for her team. There was also some great marking and defending by Alfie. At the end of a very tiring and hot competition, the results were in! Inskip got 5th place and 2nd place! Well done to both teams. It was a fun afternoon and we are now looking forward to a rounders competition in two weeks time.
