Over the next few weeks, Upper School will be exploring a new exciting narrative genre: science fiction!

We have been exploring two animations about different robots (‘Light’ and ‘Bilbo’) and shared our observations, inferences and wonders about the two.

’Bibo’ was clearly the favourite of the two and lent itself to deep and insightful discussions and explanations. We have been learning how to use evidence from the animation to support our explanations. This has been a challenge but one they worked truly hard on.

Today, we delved into the newspaper spotted at the start of the ‘Bibo’ animation and Upper School produced pieces of writing to explain what their thoughts on Bibo were now.

I am thoroughly looking forward to reading these over the weekend!
