The children had a FANTASTIC afternoon out at Humblescough farm on Thursday this week!
We were treated to a lovely fire and some hilarious songs whilst we munched on some biscuits and roasted marshmallows. After that, the children were set free to explore the woods and participate in a multitude of wonderful, outdoorsy and messy activities.
Some children built dens using tarps (and had a bucket of water thrown on them afterwards!). Some children created magic wands or ancient spears. Some children explored for bugs whilst others created clay sculptures. There were options to create leaf art using stones or have a try at striking a fire-lighter to set some cotton wool on fire.
There were so many amazing things to do and the children truly loved their experience. They cannot wait to go back!
