As we have had some lovely weather this week, middle school have spent several mornings having their maths and English outside.
In our English lesson we used the outside to find objects to write similes about. Here are some that we came up with:

'The grass is as muddy as a pig sty.' - Tyreece, Year 3

'The ladder is as big as blackpool tower!' - Alfie, Year 4

'The sheep are like cotton balls.' - Florence, Year 4

We also spent a maths lesson outside taking a tally of the colour of passing cars. Children enjoyed watching out for which colour would come next.
We discovered that white is the most popular car colour in Inskip at the moment!
