After some practise keeping a rhythm and listening to different notes, middle school had a try at creating some ascending and decending scales together on the chilme bars. Once we had done this, we practised playing 'twinkle twinkle little star' together - which went quite well! Using our skills of listening for our beat, the children divided into small groups and created their own meodies using the chime bar combinations in their group.
