Please try to spend 10 minutes (or more if you would like to) on a phonics activity to keep making your brains bigger and reminding yourself how to read and spell sounds. Reading and Responding

Reception - please choose an activity from your 'Shark in the Park' by Nick Sharratt ideas   

Year 1 - please do the activities for Day 3 from 'Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy' by Lynley Dodd. Today you are going to imagine that you are Hairy Maclary and you are going for a walk with the other characters. I wonder where you will go, will you take them for a walk around Inskip? Maybe you will take them for a walk around the places near your house. I can't wait to read your sentences and see where you went!

Year 2 - please do the activities for Day 3 around Julia Donaldson book Characters. Today's book is one of my favourites, The Smartest Giant in Town! We have read that in school haven't we? Today you are going to make a list of all the kind things the giant does and then you are going to describe what sort of character the giant is. Remember to use 'green' words and use https://www.wordhippo.com word hippo the online thesaurus to find alternative adjectives to describe him. Have fun, I can't wait to read your descriptions!
