Good morning everyone, happy last day of term!
Today's star of the blog is Nathaniel dressed as the Hulk and his adorable kitten called Melman sat on his knee! Thank you for this fabulous photo Nathaniel it will make everyone start their day with a smile.
It is Fancy Dress Friday PE at 9am with Joe today! I wonder if Nathaniel will be dressed as the Hulk for his PE.
A note to parents ... the government has recommended this site www.internetmatters.org as a useful link to help parents and carers support to keep you child safe online.
Thank you for the lovely comments I have received about your children enjoying the story I recorded so much. I will record more for them.
Worship
Please find 'Collective Worship Series//Lent//Bishop Philip' on Youtube (remember to stay safe on the internet and only search on youtube with an adult helping you) there are 7 videos from Bishop Phillip from the Blackburn Diocese of the The Church Of England in Lancashire for you to watch.
Phonics (reading and spelling)
Reception - please do another activity in your phonics booklet.
Year One - please do phonics mat 5 and the sentences.
Year Two - please do the fourth page (page 5) in your 'Common Exception Words Y2 Activity book' write the sentences in your blue book rather than on the paper in the booklet (I don't think you'll have enough room).
Writing
Today's word of the day is performer. Can you write a sentence with the word performer in it?
Maths
Join the maths party at White Rose Maths Home Learning by clicking on this link https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/. Choose your year group, watch the video first then have a go at the activities. I suggest you do the lessons and then go and do some practical maths ...
Reception - Day 5 What The Ladybird Heard - Getting Dotty.
Year One - Lesson 5 - Step 4 - Make arrays.
Year Two - Lesson 5 - Step 10 - Equivalence of a half and 2 quarters
You don't need to print the worksheets out, you can simply tell the adult you are working with the answers to the questions.
Have a lovely Easter holidays everyone, stay home, stay safe, have a well deserved rest and lots of fun at home. I will be putting more learning blogs on here after the two week break. If you have sent me Good Morning photos (Amber and Leo I have yours saved) they will appear on the blog after the holidays.
