Good morning everyone!

It looks as though we are set for another beautiful day, I saw lots of the lovely things you have been doing outside on the photos you emailed to me yesterday (Emily and Maddison have been gardening, Harry made an assault course in the garden and did it with Bella and mummy!). Miss Haynes absolutely loved all the photos, videos and messages you sent her, thank you. Go back to yesterday's blog and read the comment she left to you all.

PE with Joe Wicks at 9am, if you can't join in live at 9am don't forget all his workouts are saved on his you tube channel so you can do them whenever you want to.

Here's a list of new things I haven’t yet mentioned that’s being offered to you and your children for free daily to help with their education while schools are closed:

10.00am - Maths with Carol Vorderman www.themathsfactor.com

12.00pm - Lunch (cooking with Jamie Oliver) https://www.jamieoliver.com/feat…/category/get-kids-cooking/

1.00pm - Music with Myleene’s Music Klass on You Tube

1.30pm - Dance with Darcey Bussel https://twitter.com/diversedance…/status/1241098264373592065

Word of the day today is zooming.  Can you act out the word for the other people at home in your house? Can you rearrange the letters of the word into alphabetical order?

Phonics (reading and spelling) and Writing

Reception - please do another activity in your phonics booklet.

Year One - please do phonics mat 2 and the sentences.

Year Two - please do the first page (page 2) in your 'Common Exception Words Y2 Activity book' write the sentences in your blue book rather than on the paper in the booklet (I don't think you'll have enough room).

Maths

Reception - please choose an activity out of your booklet.

Year One - please do the page 'one more, one less' in your maths booklet.

Year Two - please do the page 'shared between' in your maths booklet. Remember to share the bones between the dogs! 8 divided by 2 means the same as 8 shared between 2. 8 bones shared between 2 dogs means that each dog gets 4 bones each.

Reading

Are you enjoying reading the books you have at home? Have you looked on Oxford Owl and read a book from there yet?

Have a lovely day!

Mrs Kemp :)
