Great maths learning with Year 1 children this morning. They have been learning how to describe turns and position using the language ‘left’, ‘right’, ‘up’ and ‘down’. 

To practise their learning today they wrote instructions telling the teddies how to move along the track to reach the tractors to go for a ride! 

The children were such great learners. They tested their own instructions then allowed friends to come and test their instructions too before trying out different tracks and writing more instructions. 

Well done, super Year 1 mathematicians!
