Reception had a good tidy up time in our garden area this morning. They cleared out the weeds and turned over the soil in our tyres that we had grown potatoes and wild flowers in last year. Then they planted some bulbs and shrubs in the wooden trough planters. They learnt new things and showed their understanding of gardening well talking about roots, bulbs, shoots, compost and how to use the tools and take care of plants. 

Thank you to Mr Proctor who brought us 5 bags of compost. We would love to have some help with our garden if there are any adults, relatives or friends with an interest in gardening who would like to share their knowledge with us and a bit of their time we would love some regualr help with our garden. Spring Gardening
