Great learning about 3D shapes this morning in Lower School! The children were really engaged in their learning building 3D shapes with cocktail sticks, mini marshmellows and midget gems! There was a lot of reasoning, problem solving happening whilst the the children built and discussed the different shapes that they created and their properties.

I was extremely impressed how well behaved the children were and how they resisted eating the sweeties. However the children took their shapes home so I'm not too sure how many made it home still with the sweeties attached to the cocktail sticks!
