As part of our RE topic about Faith, the Upper School children visited St Peter’s Church in the village to meet the vicar, Rev. Paul, and to find out about how local people show their faith in God.
We looked around the church to find examples of people of faith and there were many! The stain glass windows, the organ, the plaques that were on the walls demonstrated to the class how people followed in Jesus’s footsteps by giving money, land and their lives for the Glory of God.
Mo Williamson also spoke to the class about her role as a church warden and how her faith has led her to be involved in so many events and services.
Thanks to Rev. Paul and the Williamsons for allowing us to come to church again to learn about God in our everyday lives.
