It was wonderful to be able to take 19 children from Y5/6 to Garstang Academy  to take part in a rounders tournament with several other small schools in the area. So many children signed up that I had to put them into two teams to take part! The first match was against each other which actually turned out to be a really good warm up match. The children got used to the size of the high school pitch and how far they had to bowl.
They then played against several different schools with some fantastic performances. The practice we had done in PE and at lunch times with Corey really paid off with rounders being scored and some great catches made to get the apposing team players out.

I am so proud of the way Inskip performed and encouraged one another throughout the competition and I can’t wait to be back at Garstang again in September for the next set of events.
