Today the children finished up their Roman topic in History with a Roman day.
We began the morning with a 'Maths Mosaic' where children had to solve problems to find out how many squares of each colour to make - they then had to work out which colours went where on their pictures. This was made extra tricky by the fact that this was written in Roman Numerals!

We then played some quizzes on Kahoot and exercised our knowledge about the Romans.

We spent the afternoon learning about some of the Roman Gods and Goddesses and we designed our own.
After this, we looked at the map of the UK and looked for all of the place names that show the Romans built that town or city.
