Since coming back after the holidays, we have dived straight into lots of wonderful learning. 
Children have started their new history topic, exploring the Romans. We have examined sources and learned about what they tell us. We have discovered the timeline of the Roman Empire and what came before and after. We looked around modern day Rome using Google Streets and then compared it to a 3D modelled recreation of ancient Rome. Finally, we learned about how life was different for people depending on their age, gender and social class... we would not want to be Roman slaves!

This term children also began their Ukulele course properly! Children have done so well in learning to tune their instruments themselves, strum and pluck strings and have even begun to learn the C and the F chords.
