This week we have been reminding ourselves of the tradition tale Jack and The Beanstalk. The children have been collecting and using ambitious vocabulary, acting out the story and retelling it by using puppets and drama.

We have begun to read Jim and The Beanstalk by Raymond Briggs and started to compare it to the traditional tale we know. The children have written their predictions as to what might happen when Jim reaches the top of the beanstalk and they have been very inventive!
