Children have been working on a very exciting (and very messy) project this half-term!
We have been looking at the poem 'The Jabberwocky' By Lewis Carroll and considering what it is trying to portray to us. 
We have been using a fast, scribbling, expressive art style using monochrome colours to capture the essence of the poem. 
Children have so far enjoyed many artistic techniques including ink rolling, painting and scraffito inspired pages. They have been focusing on the texture and emotion behind pictures as well as how we can turn words into images.
