We were so excited to watch catch sight of two different butterflies emerge from their chrysalis on Friday! It was an amazing experience for the children to watch and experience. 

We had lots of discussion and excitement as the children watched the final stages of the life cycle of a butterfly first hand. 

I have been into school over the half term holiday to check on the butterflies and put fresh fruit in for them to eat and drink from. They are all well and thriving. When we return to school we will observe the butterflies for a few days before releasing them outside.
