This week in our RE lesson we discussed the miracle Jesus performed when he turned water into wine (John 2:1-11) at the wedding in Cana. The children decided that the miracles Jesus performed show us that Jesus was special and that it made his friends, his disciples, realise how special he was.

We had a great discussion about weddings with two of the class recounting weddings they had attended. The children asked many questions about marriage and unions. We discussed the symbolism of the events in a Christian wedding ceremony and acted out a wedding which they loved!
