In English lessons this week the children have begun to think about the stories we will be writing. We used images of the rainforest as well as sounds of the rainforest to take ourselves on an immersive and descriptive journey to write about our setting. Children came up with some amazing descriptive sentences - here are some below...
'The thick, lime green bamboo nicely in the nutella coloured water. The gloomy, grey elephant is biting massive chunks of the bamboo.'
'Magnificent water flooded though a watery pathway. Rain in the nights sound like the Earth cracks.'
'The sides of the cave are covered in moss so it is almost impossible to climb. Snakes lurk, disguising themselves.'
